So a random question. I heard that the new Mazinger Z JM is slightly smaller than the original. I seem to recall a similar comment long LONG ago about the UniFive Mazinger Z. I think then the complaint was mostly due to not being able to use vintage JM attachments.
The obvious point of curiosity being, is this ‘new’ Mazinger just a repop of the UniFive JM?
Bandai is king of that Char quote: “one does not wish to be reminded of the mistakes of one’s past”
The key to the secret sauce is did the tag/display call out ‘new tooling’. That’s usually a sell point, but maybe that only applies to model kits. Of course it COULD be the UniFive toy and it’ll be all over the reviews… unless it’s all memory holed and the current acolytes of the church of the Jumbo Machinder are too young to know that there ever was a UniFive… oh gnu I am so old…. 😆

(Anime village, UniFive, Honnamise…)
I don't think it's a re-pop of the U5 version. It seems to be its own new thing.
