This. This is what I want. Everything you guys talked about is what I want. If I ever get to Japan, sure I’ll visit Mandarake and do the whole Akiba jive, but what I WANT is to go to the places that are like Superfest. The old guy who has no fucks left to give, the stacks of Nitto and Nichimo 100 Yen kits, stumbling over deadstock from Anime Police Pero (last year I stumbled over and bought an official dojinshi published by Pero for Adieu GE 999. I wish I could post a pic, Patrick would faint).
There have been times when friends have made the trip and asked if they should look for anything for me. How do you describe something you don’t know exists?
The problem is(besides lack of money😆), I may be too old now to handle the world of Superfest. The old knees don’t like to bend in a squat to rummage thru stuff, the eyes are going, blah blah blah. I guess I need that machine body. 😆
Patrick, Matt, do more stuff like this. Please.
Ah yes! Thank you for sharing. Looks bitchin’
